The Project

Hand drawn chalkboard menu updates

How often do you walk into a coffeeshop and simply order what you had last time, just because you don't want to navigate a confusing menu? My local Stone Creek Coffee (aka my favorite Lake Country coffeeshop) needed their menus updated, hoping to encourage customers to explore their options and expertise in coffee.

The Design

Menu designs that educate and inspire customers

After coming up with a strategy for reorganization, I began lettering on the chalkboards! We created a really cool section on the first board to not only display, but explain their popular "Classics" section (of which the americano was my go-to). The fourth board was especially fun, illustrating their specialty "Brew Methods", and featured coffee roasts. The boards are designed to be easily updated, utilizing an equal grid system, and captures the emotions the creative department has created to embody the Stone Creek Coffee brand. They've had amazing feedback to the menus, and requested we re-do additional stores in the area!
